The Dark Knight
Posted by Sagnik | Filed under Uncategorized
I recently watched one of the most hyped movies of recent times, “The Dark Knight” …and boy the hype was genuine. The movie was packed with some superb performances by Batman (Christian Bale) and of course Joker (Heath Ledger). The latter clearly outdid any of his past performances. He was the highlight of the entire movie with a lip smacking performance (literally). Alas we’ll never be able to see Heath Ledger performing again.

The photography tutorials are remarkable and covers the entire process, the basics and the pros! Great information on lenses. Not only photography but the entire process of digital imaging & photographic effects. Totally amazing website for any aspiring photographer…like me!!!

I just found out that my website is listed on CssBased, CSS Design Yorkshire, CssMania and MostInspired

Hey, Cssloaf has awarded 26four79 as SOTD (Site of the Day), seems like apart from the design, i did good in readability and usability of the website. That’s not a bad compliment at all!!!
Some other websites have listed 26four79 as well!!! Dezinspiration , DailySlurp and Help-Developer
Thank you all for the encouragement!

“Your design skills are fine but do you know JavaScript?”
Posted by Sagnik | Filed under Website Designing
I read a similar sort of post on some blog, I don’t exactly remember where. If anybody comes across the original please do let me know. I just wrote my version of the original.
Here it goes…..
“Your design skills are fine but do you know JavaScript?”
Like the Client-side and Server-side coding, the IT/Web community is basically divided in two categories, Designers & Developers.
The former often deals with the Client-side things like Web design, Fonts, Color with the Usability aspects. Now-a-days the efficient one also poses a working knowledge of HTML & CSS. Whereas the Developers take care of the Server-side things like .NET, PHP, C# etc.
One of the major Client-side things what we’re using for the past 6-7 years is JavaScript. Since Designers are handling the client-side part, now-a-days they are expected to solve the mysteries of JavaScript. But the question is “Whether it’s too much to ask from a Designer?”
Hey Guys!!!
